Psalm 7:8 – The Lord
judges the peoples, judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and
according to the integrity that is in me.
Psalm 1 – Blessed is
the man who delights in the Law of the Lord and on His Law meditates day and
night. . . In all that he does he prospers.
Psalm 92:12-15 – The
righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They
are planted in the house of the Lord. They flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bear fruit in old age. They are ever full of sap and green to
declare that the Lord is upright! He is my rock, and there is no
unrighteousness in Him.
Romans 1:16-18 – For
I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to
everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “the
righteous shall live by faith.”
I’m
not bragging, but I am boasting in God. If you could see inside my head and
what God is doing in my life you would see and understand how much truth these
four scriptures speak. God is amazing and He is all powerful. He can do things
in amazing time and with master craftsmanship. The way things come together
amazes me. I feel Him moving in my life and things are going to take off soon.
You guys ever wondered why people who trust and follow God seem to have the
world. They are happy, secure, confident, patient, etc. seems like everything
they touch turns to gold and they prosper. You ever just want what they have?
Good, family, contentedness, love, laughter, prosperity. There is something
different about people who “live for God truly”. You ever notice how they
shine? They light up a room! It’s because they have God all over them. It’s
because God has given them all that they have and all that they are because they
have been obedient to Him! Sometime in their life they decided to read the
Bible, they started to pray to God, they began slowly turning from sin, and
they decided to surround themselves with people doing the same! “Blessed is the
man who delights in the law…” “In all that he does he prospers…” (Psalm 1).
Those words came out of the very first Psalm…HELLO! Can it not get any clearer?
What are you waiting on? Why are we so hard headed? We want what is good but we
have to put in the work to get those blessings that God has for us. We are not
going to get it by sitting on the couch eating zuu zuu’s and wham wham’s
watching Doctor Phil and Oprah!
Prayer: Father
God, help me to live my life today in a way that will be pleasing to you and
may I be found not guilty of sin in all areas of my life so that I may glorify
you and your kingdom. Amen
